Thoughts

What is a thought? From where it originates from?

Do you agree that our thoughts originates from a necessity? If a necessity or demand arises, we will think about that. The activity of thinking results in thoughts about the past and the present, resulting in the planning for future activities.

Do thoughts really affect our activities and success level? If you agree with me, you certainly have noticed the impact of our thoughts in each activity we do. Thoughts will initiate the actions. Don't you believe?

If we have a thought like "I am late to the office", the thought will initiate our action(s) to start to our office quickly, by completing our works quickly.

If we have a thought, "I am not feeling well". This will initiate the actions to take the medicines or to meet a doctor, to find and cure the problem we have.

Why we are talking about the thoughts here? To get the answer for this question, we have to find the answer for these questions.

Are our dreams also depends on the thoughts?
If so, in which way the thoughts are related with the dreams?

In our dreams, we can see that we have achieved the goals that we have set. We might have seen in our dreams, that:

  • We have achieved the first place in studies, if we aim for the first place.
  • We have owned a new house, if we have an aim to build a new house.

In some cases the thoughts also initiate a chain of actions. If we have a thought to note down a friend's contact number,

  • We search for a paper.
  • We search for a pen or a pencil
  • Note down the contact number with his name.

(or)

  • We look for our mobile.
  • We perform the steps in the mobile to store the contact number in our mobile.

The task we are going to perform is a single one, but they are sub divided into small actions. Thus the thought of noting down a number would initiate some chain of actions. Do you agree?

Thoughts, are very powerful and can be used either in a constructive way or in a destructive way, to create a thing or to destroy a thing. How can we able to make the thoughts to gain strength, energize ourselves and to achieve our goals? This need a constant practice starting from the point of identifying one's necessity!

  • What is your necessity now?
  • What you are looking for?
  • What is your aim?
  • What you want to do now?

If we try to think about these questions, that will initiate the process[action] of thinking to find out the answers for these questions.
